I know what you might be thinking – “Oh wow, built himself a website! Must be pretty proud of himself! Thinks he’s earned himself some digital real estate!” ‐ I get it. I had the same reservations. In fact, you probably weren’t even thinking that until I said it, proving that sometimes we manifest our issues by expressing our own self doubt… anyways…

One night, as I sat on my porch, thinking about my career, my interests and wondering how you’re supposed show other people the things you’re proud of? Can I add hyperlinks to a resume? Why are we still using sheets of paper to describe our career? Wait, i’m not even looking for jobs so why would I send someone a resume? Then I had the thought – should I have a website?

Of course not; who do I think I am? People don’t just have their own websites.. i need to do something impressive first, right? Have I done anything impressive?? – Then I saw it from another angle – I literally work in digital marketing; I design webpages everyday! And thats when it hit me… it actually doesn’t make sense to NOT have my own website. Thats like an interior designer never getting around to buying their own furniture. The more I thought about it, the more fired up I got. 20 minutes later I purchased the domain and finally came to the conclusion – Why not have a website??
